Silêncio
Importance of bodies belonging to the place they are given: Space created by Pierre Nouvel is austere and diluted – stylised body.
Body should be representative of a subject in a situation, on an abstract plane, rather than an over-drawn character.
The characters always appear in Monochrome tones – grey, white and black. This sequence is only interrupted by bursts of colour at the moments of the fanfares.
Monochrome in situations that centre around Silence, colour when attempts at sound appear.
Geoffrey Johnson’s work was a visual reference for the costumes.
